Good food, inexpensive

Third year in a row ordering for new years, late again over an hour past requested time, phone line busy of course! This is strike three the food isn't that good to put up with this. So bye bye! Pass it along people ....I will.

Updating my review because it was 5 years old and the mapo tofu and double cooked pork have been consistently delicious enough to change my mind. If you're looking for large portions at a low price in the middle of the night, this is the place. However, if you're looking for good food, the mapo tofu and double cooked pork are the best you're going to do. Fortunately, they're pretty damn good.

They offer a vast variety of delicious food. I liked eating here. Staff members are always very friendly, prices are reasonable and the spot is always kept clean.

Food was good but a huge problem I was sent the wrong rice. Then when i called to tell them about it they had the nerves to ask for the rice back in a time like this with Covd19. I have never in my life have seen someone ask for food back. Are they going to keep it and pass the food to someone else? I would never ever order from these people again.

Had a fantastic experience in this place with my daughter. The food came fast and the customer service is just great. Prices are reasonable.

Its good because it's open late....food is decent, is my 2nd time going there.

Very good Asian food, of course not for everyone. Some dishes are incomprehensible to me, but there are also favorites.

I highly recommend the Mala Spicy Pot. I like the interesting vegetables (and meats) you can choose from, and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

This is the best spot for takeout Chinese food in Waltham! You'll make the right choice picking and sticking to this place.

This is a non-standard place, but for those who prefer Asian cuisine, they may well like it. My rating is 4 stars.

Horrid Beef being used in rice smelled and tasted so disgusting don’t risk it

The foods okay not amazing but not terrible. And the menu is what you would expect from any similar place. But its open late and a safe bet for food that will fill you and not be as bad as a t.v dinner.

The food tastes really good, the service is prompt and the staff is pleasant and patient.

I’ve never been to a Chinese place where they serve extremely small amount of food! The dinner wing plate, which cost $13! only had 4 small wings and very small amount of rice!! This was served in a cheap to go plate! not even in the containers that most Chinese places serve their food in. The flavor was ok, and that’s the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Overpriced, small amount of food, not worth it!

I have to admit that I have only had their Hot and Sour Soup and Beef with Green Beans, for take out. I’ve been searching for excellent Hot and Sour soup since one of my favorite restaurants closed and so I have a good basis for comparison. This is delicious. Thick, hearty, loaded with tree fungus (mushrooms) and other traditional vegetables, it has a little kick to it but isn’t so spicy that I can’t enjoy it. I happen to like mine with a good bit of the sour flavor, so I sometimes add a dash of rice vinegar when I get it home. It was my “go to” on a cold winter evening. This isn’t a place you’d think of trying based on curb appeal...there isn’t any. I decided to try it because I drove by anyway and I was still on my quest for the perfect H & S soup. I enjoyed the beef with green beans but it wasn’t memorable. I tried the fried rice once and it disappointed. Take the food home...the interior is dreary. But it has an open kitchen so I can see that it looks clean. And very budget friendly.

I had the worst experience today. I ordered my food over the phone, hoping I would be in and out of the place. The lady at the cash register first attends to the phone calls, I waited for 5-10 minutes for my pick not until o walked away and told the lady to cancel my order. She called on me as I walked away and she gave me uncooked/full of dough pork. Unfortunately I didn’t open my food until when I was half way from the place. Please don’t go to this place in this season.

We have ordered from here multiple times. Their General Gap’s Tofu is delicious. Always get good service and a quick delivery. For some quick Chinese food, would highly recommend.

Excellent food, great service, not expensive

We ordered the Deep Fried Pork Chop, Mongolian beef and Hot Spicy Garlic sauce.  It was terrific.  My wife’s Chinese restaurant!

Found hair in our food. They didn’t care after we informed them. Eat at your own risk.

amazing pork ribs

I would give 0 stars if I could. I’ve been currently waiting over 2 hours for takeout and all the cashier kid can say on the phone to me is “the driver is almost there, if he doesn’t come then cancel your order”. I’m not one to leave bad reviews for places, but this isn’t the first time...do not order takeout from here ever.

Crab ragoons! Good food!

Tried them again even after the last time I ordered ask for boneless ribs well done and got chicken fingers ... the chicken fingers were burnt and the boneless ribs under cooked ... tonight got lg chicken wings there were 7 total and 3 of them where no bigger then my thumb the staff were all wearing coats as the heat was not on and it was just as cold inside as outside ... place is filthy don’t know how the board of health has not shut them down .... Mike Delfino needs to pay them a visit I will make sure when I see him again to mention it

The double cooked pork is legit! For those of y'all who screamed this place is bad, y'all just ordered the wrong dishes from the wrong menu. Order from the traditional menu, and stay away from fake chinese dishes like "General Tso's chicken" or boring ones like "beef w/ broccoli."

Portions are smaller compared to other chinese food restaurants. Food is good, they are tight with the duck sauce ($).

Wow! What a surprise this was. In late night desperation after a long day of travel we saw this place along the road and stopped. At 12:30 am they were super busy and had no problems keeping up with the crowd. We got our food fast and it was piping hot and delicious. Huge chunks of meat and veggies and excellent fried ride full of awesome stuff. Everything here was excellent and the store was clean. Huge bang for the buck here.

It's mostly take out. The food was okay. We ordered Vegetable fried rice, Pork W. Garlic Sauce, Shrimp W. Garlic Sauce and Happy family. The taste was okay. The main thing is it's open till 2am in the morning. It's very hard to find places to eat after 11pm. It usually takes around 15 minutes to complete the order.
